Please excuse our radio silence lately! There has been quite a lot of activity at the Plenitude HQ in recent months. Our animated feature film BINBAG : Reality Storm has secured full funding & we’re getting the rather fine promo out into the world in the next couple of days! Watch this space.
We are pretty jet set at the moment with a number of trips which included Nocturna Madrid Film Festival where we represented our new horror feature WHY HIDE?.
On Monday we continue our business travels when go from London to Ghent to attend Cartoon Digital. Cartoon Digital is a top-level seminar during which 30 speakers will share with us the latest developments in digital animation across 3 full days of seminars and various dinners. We are big fans of Cartoon Media events having attended previously in Canada, France and South Korea.
During the conference we will also be taking the opportunity to meet with buyers, sales agents and distributors as well as exploring co-pro opportunities for our two upcoming animated feature films BINBAG and Forever Dave.

Plenitude Productions gave a guest lecture at The Northern Film School today. Karen Taylor discussed her personal journey in to producing film. Offering professional advice to the universities undergraduates about how to get in to the film industry and shared additional insight on how to get in to the highly in demand roles of Financial Controller and Production Accountant. Her lecturer was followed by a post production lecture by James Edward Cook Director of ‘Why Hide?’. The Northern Film School is one of the best known film and television schools in the UK with a 25 year pedigree. The Northern Film School is part of Leeds Beckett University.
We are thrilled to announce that our feature film Why Hide? has been selected for the Dark Visions competition at the prestigious Nocturna Film Festival in Madrid. Plenitude Productions will be in attendance alongside Director James Edward Cook and the main cast of Why Hide? including Charlotte Atkinson, Lorna Brown and Orla Cottingham. Plenitude Productions has produced a feature film entitled WHY HIDE? recently shot in the North East of England. The film is now in Post Production and due for completion in September this year. Rich McCoull from The East Wing is attached to the project as composer. WHY HIDE? is the debut feature film from producer/director partnership Karen Taylor and James Cook. The duo co wrote the comedy horror.
